What this site collects

Nothing, unless you join the waitlist. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no scripts or fonts from anyone else. The service that delivers the pages (Amazon CloudFront) may keep standard access logs for a short time to operate the service.

The waitlist

If you join, we store your email address, the language of the page you used, the boxes you ticked about yourself and anything you wrote in the free line, and the time. We use them for one purpose: to tell you when Meowton is ready to try and, occasionally, what changed. Until you confirm your address the entry is marked pending, and a pending entry that is never confirmed is deleted after thirty days.

Where it is kept

In a database in our Amazon Web Services account in the United States. Confirmation and update messages are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share the list with anyone.

Leaving

Every message carries a link that deletes your address at once. You can also write to contact@meowton.org and we will delete it by hand.

The product

This notice covers this website only. The product is being designed so that composing, recognition, and history stay on your device; its own privacy statement will be published with it.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
